Young Writers Blog Writing Contest

Young Writers Blog is having a writing contest. All writers are encouraged to join! There will be two winners and  two runner-ups.

Winners will have their novels promoted by Young Writers Blog. Winners will also have the opportunity of Young Writers Blog search for  worthy and reliable publishing companies.

Runner-ups will also be promoted.

The stories must be no longer than 4 pages. There is no required point of view or genre. Winners and runner-ups will be choosen based on creativity, strong passionate writing, originality and uniqueness.

March 23rd, 2013 @ midnight in central time

Participants should send their short stories to & post the news of their entry under the Writing Contests tab.
All participants will be notified of Young Writers Blog receiving their work via email. Questions?  Feel free to email your questions at

Winners will be announced, within a month of the deadline, on Young Writers Blog.

  1. Four pages is kind of vague, can you translate that to a word total?

    • We are looking for at least a minimum of 1,750 words and a max of 3,000.

      • 3,000 will be my goal as I tend to fill out the plot with several words. Thanks fo0r responding so promptly!

    who is eligible to enter?please specify age groups,nationality and any other requirements

    • The contest is free and anyone can enter. The only requirement is that the stories have no more than 3,000 words.
